Paris

A long weekend in Paris in April, with the Judas trees in blossom and the tulips out.

Most of it revolved around the Eiffel Tower: seen from Bir-Hakeim bridge, framed by its arches, silhouetted at sunset, and finally climbed, looking down on the Champ de Mars, the Pont d’Iéna and the gardens and up through the ironwork and rivets. In between there was a 2CV crossing the bridge, an Art Nouveau Métro entrance, the Louvre, and a neon café sign at night.
