Cyprus

A week in Cyprus at the end of the winter.

Early spring meant flowers everywhere: daisies and gazanias along every path. There was a cat asleep on the hotel sign, sunsets through the palms on the Paphos seafront, the wreck of the Edro III rusting on the rocks off the coast, rock pools glowing after the sun went down, and the weathered doors and shuttered houses of the old town.
