gear: Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max · Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II · Fantasea FG9X · INON S200
A week in July on the Gaelic Rose, a liveaboard that moors at Lochaline on the Sound of Mull, diving wrecks and reefs among the islands.
Under the water there were nudibranchs among the anemones and hydroids, a lobster in its hole and a seal gliding past in the gloom. The wrecks were dark, overgrown and best in black and white, with divers’ torches picking out the structure. Up top there were flat calm mornings, Skerryvore lighthouse alone on its rock far out to the west, islands across the water at sunset and the moon rising over a harbour at dusk.
Underwater on the Canon G9 X Mark II in its Fantasea housing with an INON S200. There’s no dive log for this trip.
